VW Heritage Parts Centre Ltd are working with the World Land Trust to reduce their environmental impact...
From 1st June 2008 VW Heritage Parts Centre Ltd will contribute £5.00 for every engine sold to the World Land Trust. This contribution will go to the Trust’s 'Carbon Balanced' projects, which deliver offsets through protection and restoration of threatened tropical forest. The contribution will help to address the carbon dioxide emissions of the engine in the future and will be used to conserve some of the world’s most threatened habitats, together with their wildlife, for the future.
The World Land Trust is a UK charity working across the world to fund the purchase and protection of threatened rainforests and other vital habitats. Since it was established in 1989 it has secured and protected nearly 375,000 acres of critical habitats, rich in wildlife, in Asia, Central and South America and the UK. Sir David Attenborough is Patron of the trust. To find out more about the World Land Trust visit their website
