Is there a detailed list of each item so I can specifiy what I am chasing... I am looking for all the Tinware for underneath a VW Beetle from 74... The Engine is a D Type so I am advised its a 1200 series....in the middle of the picture is a Triangle piece. I do not recognize... is this required for my motor ?? all the Topside tinware i have is ok but the Warmside or bottom plates that cover the Push rod tubes are gone . on the above picture its the 2 items on the left and the 1 on the far right ..
these 3 items i need as well as the triangle piece if it suits my engine..

The only piece we do for your 1200 is:

https://www.vwheritage.com/111119352g-tinware-rhs-rear-flat-for-1200-and-34hp-from-7336420

You will need to try and find second hand parts for the other 2

Will this fit a 1600cc type 3 engine?

Question by: will on 16 Jul 2018 15:31:00
It will fit the type 3 engine, but not the type 3 car. A type 3 has what is known as a suitcase or pancake engine whereas this would be for an upright engine
