Weber 32/36 progressive carburettor kit to fit Twinport engines up to 1600, it can be fitted to single port engine if using the EMPI single port end castings part number AC1293237 This kit is well suited to stock and mildly tuned engines. The kit includes the carburettor with electric choke, manifold centre section, air filter, linkage kit, fuel line and hardware to fit.

Early Beetle engine lids will need deck lid stand offs to clear the kit

This kit will require setting up on a rolling road for optimum performance. May require some clearancing of fan-housing and manifold to fit. Primary & Secondary Jets fitted as standard are: Main: 137 / 140 Air: 165 / 160 Idle: 60 / 50 This carburettor DOES have a vacuum port for connection to a vacuum distributor if required.

Will I need to change jets on a 1776cc engine with standard cam?. I understand that it will need setting up on rolling road, but its not driveable yet.

These Carbs will need re-jetting for a 1776cc for optimum performance. Your rolling road should be able to provide the correct jets, once they have put it through different load conditions.

Depending on the engine its being fitted to, this Carb. will give gains in terms of performance.

having brought and fitted this on a 71 bay , where to you now connect the pipe that came off the original inlet manifold that goes to the brake servo ?
