Top Quality

This kit will require setting up on a rolling road for optimum performance. To improve low end running and idle a 1\/2'' balance pipe should be added between the inlet manifolds. If fitting to a 1641cc engine 145 main jets should be fitted and we recommend going for the Balance Pipe and Jet Install Kit (AC129400) as this will give you the best performance from your Carburettors.

Fitted with: 130 mains 55 idles 160 air correctors 1.75 needles

What distributor do you recommend, SVDA or 009?
Question by: David Bones on 20 Sep 2019 16:32:00
These can be run with a vacuum style distributor, but we tend to recommend the 009 version

I have an 1300ab engine that runs too lean on a 31 pict carb would these be fine. I don’t know if it is attached 1300 or larger so if you have any other recommendations that would also be great
Question by: Miles on 1 Apr 2019 11:20:00
If it is running too lean it could be down to tuning, fuel pressure or a blocked jet. Fitting a larger carburettor might not be the solution and may cause running too rich.

We would recommend booking it in with a specialist garage.

Do these have a vacuum take off for a distributor advance
Question by: Miles on 26 Mar 2019 12:03:00
Yes they do.
