When buying aftermarket wheels for VW models, you will need to know the 'Pitch Circle Diameter' or 'PCD' of your vehicle. This is very easy to work out: First count how many studs your wheel takes - 4 or 5? Then imagine a circle passing through the centre of each stud-mounting hole. Your 'PCD' is the number of studs your wheel needs / the diameter of the circle in mm. The standard PCD for VW Beetle wheels and VW Camper Van wheels are given below.
