very original unmolested " twin slider" microbus

This bus has been owned by the same business from new, we bought the t2 along with her sister vehicle which is a bay pick up, these two vehicles have lived side by side since their first registration.

this bus should qualify as tax exempt as she was manufactured in early 1972.( this can be confirmed by cross referencing the chassis number with vw HQ)

having been kept inside for all its life,she is a very original unmolested example, welding is needed in only the following areas

front arches, door bottoms, front steps, front outriggers battery tray, small area on b pillar bulkhead

upon inspection we could see through the belly pan and can confirm the rear outriggers main chassis rails and all heater channels need no welding, neither does the floor pan itself. screen surround shows no signs of heavy rust. roof and gutters are all in excellent condition.(usually the common rust areas)

the optional belly pans have protected the chassis rails and floor pans resulting in them needing no attention.

it must be noted this bus has received no welding as yet so it is a blank canvas to someone who wants a quality job and not spend hours uncovering and rectifying someone elses poor workmanship.

the bus is complete, she starts, runs very well indeed, stops.

been off the road for seven years so recomissioning of brakes would be advisable however she could be driven away on trade plates or trailered, must be noted NO MOT

the v5 does show a second owner which is in fact the business proprieters nephew who inherited the two vehicles a year or so ago.
