SSP Coil-Over Shocks

Shock absorbers with a chrome plated assistance spring. Most often used on bajas, buggies and trikes. The lower spring mount allows for a small amount of tension adjustment (C-spanner included for this).

Currently stock is in a black finish (as pictured), but white or yellow versions are sometimes supplied. Priced individually.

Part number AC513001 is supplied with a wider bottom bush for IRS rear applications. If using this shock for othert applications this bush must be narrowed.

Bugpack Shocks

These oil filled shocks offer a smoother ride than KYB shock absorbers due to their softer damping. Preferred by some customers who require comfort rather than sharp handling. Priced per pair.

KYB GR2 Shocks

These gas pressurised shocks offer a firm, sporty ride and precise control. During testing by Volksworld magazine, KYB shock absorbers came out top for performance. Silver painted finish. Priced individually.

KYB Gas-A-Just Shocks

These are firm, gas pressurised shocks with heavy duty damping best suited to Type 2's or the rear of smaller vehicles that need beefing up. Despite the name they are NOT adjustable. They have a white painted finish. Priced individually.

GAZ Adjustable Shocks

Exclusive to SSP, these are fully adjustable gas shock absorbers made in the UK. Adjustable damping gives you the ability to tune your suspension to your exact requirements. Priced per pair.

Adjustments can be made whilst fitted to your vehicle by means of an easily accessible knurled knob on the shock absorbers and on the strut inserts via a removable knob which attaches to the top of the insert. The ultimate gas adjustable shocks!

GAZ Adjustable Coil-Over Shocks

These can be used to beef suspension set ups or raise cars that have been lowered too far when a complete tear down and rebuild of their suspension is not desirable.

These shocks have all the benefits of GAZ ahock absorbers with the addition of height adjustable spring set. Springs for these shocks are supplied seperately at additional cost.

The extended/collapsed lengths quoted do not include the bumpstop which is fitted. If this bumpstop is left in place collapsed lengths will be 25mm longer.
