EMPI Rear Disc Conversion Complete kit includes: discs, calipers, mounting brackets, pads, hardware and handbrake cables. Fits all 4-Stud Beetles. Tarox 6 Piston Front Calipers These lightweight, billet aluminium calipers dramatically improve braking and are easy to fit to any Beetle, including 1302/3 models. Just bolt them on to your disc brake stub axles and choose your preferred disc from the 'Beetle Drums & Discs' Page PLEASE NOTE: Early drum brake models (up to 1965) require special adaptor brackets AND special brake discs & wheel bearings. Tarox 6 Pot Rear Disc Brake Kit A matching 6 pot caliper kit for the REAR of 1968 onward Beetles. The kit includes the same excellent 6 pot calipers as the front brakes, along with a special cable operated shoe assembly for the handbrake which fits inside the brake disc. All this is mounted on a billet aluminium housing which also forms the rear axle bearing cover. Kits for alternative stud patterns are usually available to order.
