First fitted to Type 4 cars, but more commonly found in late Bay Window and Early T25 buses. They feature twin carbs, a fan mounted on the crankshaft and the exhaust ports on the underside of the heads. Units converted for 'Automatic' are available. |

Engines are supplied with an oil filter (with mounting bracket) oil cooler and fan hub. Exchange units must be returned with these parts on or your surcharge refund will be reduced. They are generally fitted with new cylinder heads. |

The 1979 'CJ' engine is a 'one year only' unit that has the earlier 'CJ' breather connection but connects to the later 'CU' style heat exchangers. If you are unsure which engine your bus requires, please contact us. |
