1641cc Street Power Motor

These are built to the same specification as our Premium units but with an increased capacity of 1641cc. They are also fitted with a Scat C25 mild sports cam (Valve lift 0.423” / Duration 275 degrees).

This combination provides a reliable increase in power and torque at a reasonable price. Results are especially good if used in conjunction with a 4 into 1 sport exhaust and aftermarket carburettors. Customers typically report 94 BHP at the flywheel!

All engines (except new crankcase units) are supplied with a modified standard bottom pulley that must be used. A new 009 distributor is also fitted. Supplied with any gaskets required for fitting.

1641cc Street Power II Motor

This is the newest addition to the Remtec range, designed to fill the gap between our 1641cc SPM and 1776cc SPM.

Built around a brand new crankcase, the new 1641 SPII engine features new big valve cylinder heads, an Engle 110 camshaft, and is topped off with a lightened flywheel - the classic combination for street performance in a small package!

For long life, the engine also features an 009 distributor, uprated oil pump, swivel foot adjusters, bolt up rocker shaft, and stronger pushrods. Coupled with the Remtec reputation for excellent build quality, the 1641 SPII is built to run and run!

1776cc Street Power Motor

Built in a new extra strong aluminium case; all other parts except the crankshaft, con-rods and rockers are brand new. These engines offer reliable performance for everyday use.

Specification includes an Engle 110 camshaft, big valve heads and a full flow oil system. Please also budget for the extra cost of the ancillary parts needed to carry out the installation properly i.e. oil cooling system, carbs and exhaust.

Only a person with suitable experience should supervise such installations. Supplied with any gaskets required for fitting.

These are assembled using many new parts, which include tin-ware, oil cooler, carburettor and ignition system. They are test run after assembly and the carburettor is set up.
